My Order

How can I place an order at DUAI?

Step 1: Browse our shop for jewelry pieces that you want to personalize.

Step 2: Take a photo of your desired design, whether it is a drawing or something handwritten by your child, an ultrasound image, or a footprint of your newborn child.

Step 3: Go to the detail page of your favorite product. There you will find a "Upload your image" function. Then, also select your desired size.

Step 4: Click on "Upload your image" to upload your picture.

Step 5: Yay! Now your picture is uploaded. Once you are ready, click on "Add to Cart" to add your product to the cart.

Step 6: During the checkout process, when you are ready, enter your contact details and finally your payment and shipping information.

After completion, you will receive a confirmation email with the full order details and shipping information. Our team will be notified and will begin the production of your jewelry piece.

Once your personalized product is completed and shipped, we will notify you by email.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Please understand that our team strives to produce your order as quickly as possible. Since all products are personalized and made to order, it is not possible to cancel or change the order.

How can I track my order?

Yay! Your order has been packed and is on its way to you. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation with all the details of your order and a tracking number with which you can track your order.

I have not received any confirmation for my order or shipment.

Kindly check that our emails haven't been directed to your spam folder. Additionally, ensure that you have provided the correct email address. If you believe you may have entered an incorrect email address, please contact us at customercare@duaithelabel.com, and we will gladly update it for you.

My order has not been shipped yet. When will it arrive?

We currently have a production time of 2-4 weeks (excluding shipping time). Since we create each product individually and each piece of jewelry goes through several complex production steps and is made with a lot of love, there can indeed be a slight delay.

Shipping & Delivery

How long is the delivery time?

Please have a look at the shipping page. Here you will find an overview of the delivery times for all countries worldwide. These delivery times are approximate and do not apply to weekends, holidays, or unexpected courier delays (weather, volume, traffic, etc.).

The delivery times listed at the shipping page are exclusive of the manufacturing and processing time for your order.

From which country is your jewelry shipped?

Our products are lovingly and carefully packed and shipped from Germany. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number with which you can track your order at any time.

Will I be charged customs/duty fees?

Import taxes, duties and related customs fees may be charged once the package arrives at the destination country. These duties vary from country to country and are charged depending on the marked "value" of the jewelry pieces inside the package.

DUAI The Label is not responsible for these fees. It is the responsibility of the customer to be aware of charges that may occur at the time of delivery/pickup for imported goods.

Not all packages are subject to the duty/custom fee, so we recommend contacting your local customs for information if you have additional questions.

We generally advise removing jewelry before showering and swimming. It's particularly important to avoid contact with shower gels, soaps, shampoos, chlorine, and salt water. This helps ensure that your jewelry maintains its new appearance for a long time.

If your jewelry occasionally gets wet, it's not a problem as long as you rinse it with clean water afterward. However, this should be a rare occurrence if you want your jewelry to retain its original shine for as long as possible.

What are your return policies?

We do not accept returns or exchanges on our personalized jewelry pieces. However, we understand that issues can occur during the shipping process, and we evaluate these cases individually. Please contact us directly via email if you have received an incorrect or missing item.

Please note that as a young company, we unfortunately do not offer free returns.

Jewelry Care

How should I store my jewelry when I'm not wearing it?

Properly storing your jewelry after each wear is a simple way to keep it in excellent condition for longer periods. This reduces air exposure, slows oxidation, and minimizes the risk of tarnishing. Here are some useful tips for storing your jewelry:

Ensure your jewelry is clean and dry before storing it after daily use.
Use a small ziplock bag for storage. These bags are affordable, compact, prevent tangling, and are airtight.
For pieces with chains, close the clasp before storing to avoid tangling.
Store your jewelry in a low-humidity environment to prevent tarnishing.
For delicate pieces, place the ziplock bag inside a small, hard container when traveling.

How should I clean and care for my jewelry?

Even with careful handling to avoid exposure to products or harmful chemicals, your jewelry can still tarnish over time due to your body's natural oils.

We suggest thoroughly cleaning your jewelry every dozen wears by soaking it in a bowl of warm water mixed with mild dish soap for about a minute, then gently rubbing it with a cotton cloth or a soft-bristled brush.

Additionally, here are some helpful tips to extend the life of your jewelry:

1. After each wear, gently wipe off makeup and oils transferred from your skin using a soft cloth.

2. When getting ready, put your jewelry on last to avoid contact with harsh chemicals found in products like hairspray or perfume.

3. If you’ve had a particularly active day and sweated a lot, be sure to clean your jewelry afterward.

4. Be cautious with sunscreen! It can cause rapid and severe tarnishing.

5. Don’t leave your jewelry dirty. If you’re not going to wear it for a while, make sure it’s clean.

6. Store well-cleaned jewelry in an airtight container like a ziplock bag.

7. Remove your jewelry before sleeping to significantly extend its lifespan.

Gift Cards

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes, we provide digital gift cards that make gifting your loved ones even easier.

Our gift cards are sent to you electronically via email. You will receive a file with a code that you can print, forward by email, or write in a card.

To promote sustainability, we currently do not offer physical gift cards in order to save resources and avoid extra shipping.

How can I find my receipt?

You can conveniently download your invoice as a PDF after your order has been shipped. Once you receive the shipping confirmation, open the email and click on "Click here to download your PDF receipt."
